Lucile Chaufour

Filmmaker Lucile CHAFOUR (France) has a background in music and plays in jazz and rock bands, including Primitiv Combo, Duck & Cover and LKDS. She has dabbled in short films, features and documentaries. Her first short film The Bitter Taste of Chocolate (2008) premiered at Cannes Film Festival. Her first feature Violent Days was awarded the Grand Prix at the EntreVues festival. She co-directed with Bernhard Braunstein the experimental films Blues (2015) and Sleeping Image (2013), presented as an installation at FID Marseille. Love & Crashes (2023) has its world premiere at IFFR.
