Leandro Katz

Leandro Katz, (1938, Argentina) studied philosophy and literature at the University of Buenos Aires. He wrote poetry and stories (including the anthologies Es una ola, Self Hypnosis and The Milk of Amnesia and lived in Peru, Ecuador and Mexico before moving to New York in 1965. The work he made as an artist including (film) installations such as The Decade Show, have been shown in the Rhode Island School of Design Museum and the New Museum of Contemporary Art.
