Kaveh Bakhtiari

Kaveh BAKHTIARI (1978, Iran) was born in Tehran and moved at the age of 9 to Switzerland. He studied Film in Lausanne and achieved success at film festivals with his short The Suitcase (2007). In 2009, he was nominated for the Sundance/NHK International Filmmaker’s Award. His first featurelength documentary Stop-Over was selected by the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs at the Cannes Festival 2013 and nominated for an European Film Award.
