Cindy Sherman

Cindy Sherman (1954, Glen Ridge, New Jersey) graduated in 1976 from the State University of New York in Buffalo. In art circles she made a name for herself with her photo series and her work has been bought by several international art galleries. In 1995 she received the prestigious MacArthur Genius Grant.
