Lions Film Award

Lions Club Rotterdam: L'Esprit du Temps annually organizes the Lions Film Night at IFFR since 2005. The proceeds from this private member event are donated to IFFR's own Hubert Bals Fund. With the donation of the Lions Club Rotterdam, the Fund is able to continue the support of extraordinary film talent in developing countries.

Also during the Lions Movie Night the annual Lions Film Award is presented to a promising film project which previously received post production support from the Hubert Bals Fund.
The Lions Movie Night at IFFR 2017 took place on Thursday 26 January in the Rotterdamse Schouwburg.
