Yolanda Maria Barroso
Yolanda is a Creative Producer with a 15-year career in the film industry. She holds a BA in Anthropology and has extensive experience in various roles, from development to distribution. Her expertise lies in strategic business planning, innovative leadership, talent management, programming, and curatorial processes.
Throughout her career, Yolanda has been involved in projects with major players in the industry, including HBO, Netflix, Amazon, and Globoplay. She has also contributed to film festivals such as Cabíria, French Film Varilux, and Ópera na Tela. Additionally, she has collaborated on distribution strategies for Brazilian and international films.
In recent years, Yolanda has been a featured panelist and producer at market events like EFM, Marché Du Film, Doc Montevideo, TIFF, AFM, and the Rio Int’l Film Festival, among others. She is an alumna of Nicho Executive and Doc Toolbox programs.
