Uran Sainbileg

Uran Sainbileg was born and grew up in the city of  Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The last 14 years of regular trips to the countryside has given her an in-depth  knowledge of nomadic lifestyle and culture. She has a background in finance and investment, and mostly handles the business side of IFI production, which she co-founded in 2016. She has produced three feature films that have been shown nationally and internationally. She won  the Best Picture Award for her first produced film at  the biggest national festival as well as awards from other international festivals. Her second feature, co-produced by a Japanese company, will be released in Japan at the end of February 2021. Her third feature has been sold in Japan, South Korea, HBO Europe and North American territories so far. With her fourth feature film project she finally has the chance to take part in creative producing. She is passionate about grasping  the creative soul of auteur cinema.

IFI Production - Mongolia

IFI production is an independent production company founded in 2016. It is a creative production company that mostly works on feature films within the genres of social drama, adventure as well as  mainstream action. It always welcomes work with new talents but also collaborates with established writers and directors. So far it has produced one local and  two co-production features with Japanese, Kazakhstan, American and French productions.
