Tanya Batson-Savage
Tanya is a producer, writer, and story editor based in Kingston, Jamaica. She is the co-founder of Have a Bawl Productions and has produced two short films, the animation project - Agwe, and the narrative live-action short, A Shade of Indigo, both of which have been screened at several international festivals. Tanya is developing her first feature, Escape to Last Man Peak, with a view to going into production by summer 2025.

Have a Bawl Productions is a Jamaican film and animation production company focused on developing unique, entertaining and innovative stories and content fuelled by Caribbean culture with worldwide appeal. The company aims to further diversify the face of cinema and TV while becoming a global cinematic force creating content for TV, cinema and online media. Together, the Have A Bawl team has active knowledge and experience in creative writing, animation, film production and intellectual property management.
