Sphe Dludlu

Sphe Dludlu is a South African born producer with a great passion for lending support to filmmakers that share a passion for telling compelling and authentic African stories. Her introduction into the film industry started in 2012, as a script supervisor, which saw her working on local South African productions such as Noem My Skollie, I Am All Girls, and REYKA, as well as international projects - Against the Wild, Katutura, and Shaina. She has recently partnered with Zimbabwean born producer Sue-Ellen Chitunya (Rotterdam Lab alumni) on a slate of projects, the first being a feature film currently in development, Graft, to be directed by Zimbabwean-Egyptian filmmaker Naishe Nyamabuya (director of Hyena's Song). Also in early development, is a series titled The Academy of Assassins, in collaboration with South African writer duo Vanishia Kisten and Nobuhle Ngwane. She was also a Realness Institute fellow, through their 2023 Development Executive Programme. Her passion for telling African stories continues to grow, under the guidance and support of HADITHI, a premium content studio that cultivates resonant stories of Africa and the African diaspora for today’s global audience.
