Sam Godried
After ten years of exploration of different aspects of filmmaking, Sam started producing documentaries in 2017. Between 2017 and 2020, he line-produced films back-to-back for production companies Hazazah Pictures, Witfilm and NewBe. Sam founded the production company Yalla docs in 2020 and is also currently working as a freelance line-producer for a documentary series.
Yalla docs – The Netherlands
Yalla docs is a production company with a focus on creative documentaries that inspire taking a new perspective on the world. Founded in 2020, the company's mission is to give overlooked or underrepresented perspectives a place in mainstream media. The company encourages new, culturally diverse makers, creative storytelling and bold (fictionalized) scenography.
