Roberto Cavallini is a film producer and academic, PhD in Visual Cultures from Goldsmiths, University of London, Emerging Producer 2020 (Jihlava IDFF), member of the European Film Academy and Adjunct Professor in History of Italian Cinema at Boston University (Italy Programs). In 2016 he founded Altrove Films and produced four feature documentaries and three shorts presented at major international film festivals such as FIDMarseille, IFF Rotterdam, Festival dei Popoli, Biografilm. Since 2019 he works as film producer at Albolina Film (Bolzano, Italy), in charge of feature docs and fiction films for the international market.

Albolina Film is a film production company founded in 2012 in Bolzano (Italy). Gaining experience as service producer for international productions in Italy and South Tyrol with more than 40 films, since 2017 we develop original feature documentaries and fiction films for the international market, with a strong interest and vocation for minority co-productions. Recently, Sisters, debut film by Linda Olte, in co-production with FenixFilm (Latvia) has been awarded as Best Film in the Competition "1-2" and the Fipresci award at the 38th Warsaw Film Festival.
