Vyacheslav Amirkhanian (1953, Grozny) attended a film course at the studio of A.S. Kachetov at the National Institute for Cinematography, and graduated in 1990 from the studio of Anatoly Aleksandrovich Vasilyev. In 1996, three of his films were screened in Rotterdam.<br />
