Teng Wenji
TENG Wenji (1944, Beijing) graduated from the Beijing Film Academy's directing department in 1968 and worked for the Xi’an Film Studio from 1973. After a series of important and sometimes controversial films in the 1980s, he continues to be prolific in both film and television serials, most recently working in mainstream and populist genres.
