Slawomir Fabicki

Slawomir FABICKI (1970, Warsaw, Poland) studied directing at The Lodz film school. He continued his education at the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing. As a student he made the short documentary Extension 55, which won prizes at various international film festivals. With his short film A Man Thing (2001) he was awarded many prizes, e.g. the Prix UIP Edinburgh in 2001. His first feature film Retrieval was also shown in the Certain Regard programme in Cannes in 2006.
