Simone Aughterlony

Simone AUGHTERLONY (1977, New Zealand) played from 1999 to 2004 in productions by Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods, including Highway 101 and Visitors Only. She moved with the Stuart company to Zurich, where she worked in the famous Schauspielhaus as an actress and choreographer on performances by Stephan Pucher and Falk Richter. Produitiehuis Rotterdam produced Aughterlony’s first solo performance Public Property. In 2005 this was followed by her humorous duet Performers on Trial. Bare Back Lying, her first major show, was part of the (International) Choice of the Rotterdam Schouwburg in 2006.
