Ruslan Magomadov
Ruslan MAGOMADOV (1983, USSR) moved as an eight-year-old to the Chechnya Republic, where the First Chechen War started in 1994. He and his family miraculously survived the war. Magomadov is a filmmaker, screenwriter and professor. Magomadov's short film Home (2012) won prizes at festivals such as the Cottbus Film Festival in Germany and Kinofest NYC.
