Musa Syeed

Independent filmmaker and writer Musa SYEED completed his first feature film Valley of Saints and feature documentary 30 mosques in 2012. He was educated at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and the Middle Eastern & Islamic Studies Department. As a writer, Syeed produced theatrical work for the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. He has also worked as an educator at schools, community centers and prisons, and taught documentary production at Williams College. His short documentary works have been shown in Berlin, IDFA and Tribeca.
