Mox Mäkelä

Conceptual artist Mox MÄKELÄ (1958, Finland) has been active in the cultural sector for over 45 years. Her ecocritical work has been displayed at art venues and international film festivals. Mäkelä's films and installations follow the tension between nature and human nature in the context of the marine milieu. Petticoat Fire (2024) is selected for IFFR 2024 and is part of the Tiger Short Competition.
