Mikhail Romm

Mikhail ROMM (1901-1971, Russia) started his career as a sculptor. He served in the Red Army. Around 1928, he changed his focus to film. He taught film makers such as Andrei Tarkovsky and Nikita Mikalhov. Romm’s most important film is the spiritual Mechta/Dream (1941).
