Mani Haghighi

Mani HAGHIGHI (b. 1969, Iran) studied Philosophy for several years before making his first feature, Abadan, in 2003. Since then he works as a director, screen writer and actor. His second feature, Men at Work (2006) made with a handicam on a shoestring budget, premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and won him several prestigious international prizes. Modest Reception is his fourth feature film.
