Lauri Luhta
Still: MosesFilmmaker Lauri LUHTA (1980, Finland) is based in Helsinki and studied history, philosophy and theology. He has been working together with his partner Jenni LUHTA since 2015 when she became a co-organiser of the live art forum he founded, Là-bas. Together they found a new approach to their work, concentrating on creating virtual artefacts like experimental, visual-cinematic videos using a digital collage technique. Suomen henki/The Spirit of Finland (2017) is their first project using that approach. Moses (2024) is their second feature film and is selected for IFFR 2024.
