Lau Kar-leung

LAU Kar-leung (1936, China) (also known as Liu Chia-liang) grew up with the martial arts. His father trained with Lam Sai-wing, who was in turn a pupil of the famous | Wong Fei-hung. As a teenager, Lau was a stuntman in wuxia films and later became martial arts director for many films. In the 1960s he started as a director with the Shaw Brothers. In 2010, he was given the Lifetime Achievement Award during the Hong Kong Film Awards.
