Iulian Daniel Popa

Iulian Daniel POPA (Romania) is a filmmaker, editor and sound designer. He graduated with a BA in Editing and Sound Design from the Faculty of Theatre and Film, University Babes-Bolyai in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Afterwards, he moved to Bucharest, where he started working in advertising in commercial studios as an editor and post-production manager. While working, he earned his MFA in photography at The National University of Arts Bucharest. After gaining overall knowledge and experience in the audio-visual industry, Popa co-founded the film production company PRISMA in Romania. Cum se întinde un nor spre altul/When Clouds Grow Towards Each Other (2021) is his debut short film.
