Hermon Hailay

Hermon HAILAY (1985, Ethiopia) is a self-taught filmmaker. Together with her partner, writer and producer Max Conil, she set up HM Film Production in Addis Ababa in order to produce Ethiopian stories and expose modern Ethiopian cinema and culture to local and international audiences. Through this, they hope to continue to develop the young Ethiopian film industry. Price of Love (2015) is Hailay’s first film to play at international film festivals.
