Heleen van Royen
Heleen van ROYEN (1965) studied journalism and is known in the Netherlands for writing novels and columns. Two of her books, De gelukkige huisvrouw (2000) and De ontsnapping (2006) were adapted into feature films in 2010 and 2015. The documentary It Hurts So Much (2017) is her directorial debut.
