Harry Smith

Harry Smith (1923, Portland ? 1991, New York) was an eccentric animation filmer who started his film experiments in the early 1940s. In addition, Smith was a respected ethno?musicologist, painter, anthropologist, linguist, occultist and great collector as well as being a key figure in the post?war American avant?garde.
