Gaetano Liberti

Gaetano LIBERTI is an independent filmmaker and cinematographer with a background in visual art practices and acting. He received a Bachelor degree in Film Directing from Béla Tarr’s Film Factory at the Sarajevo Film Academy. Between 2004 and 2012, he was active as a theatre performer in several Italian productions. He has been working with different media since 2005, investigating the relationship between matter and perception. He worked as Director of Photography for Luciano Pèrez Savoy's documentary M-1 (2017), which received awards Torino and Monterrey. His own film J (2018, short) premiered in Marseilles and was part of the official selection in Beijing.
