Etienne Fourie

Writer and filmmaker Etienne Fourie (South Africa) studied at ADFA School of Motion Picture Medium in Cape Town, graduating in 2011. He won the South African Film and Television Award in 2021 for Best Achievement in Directing TV Drama for his role in the series Tydelik Terminaal (2020). In the same year, he published his debut novel, Man in de Maan. He has also made several feature films, including Die Windpomp (2014) and Dis Koue Kos, Skat (2016). His most recent film, Stiekyt (2022), was selected for IFFR 2023.
