      Diego ESCOBAR (Chile) is a director, screenwriter, editor and cinematographer born in Viña del Mar, Chile. He graduated from Escuela de Cine de Chile and took script and directing courses at Scuola Sperimentale di Cinematografía in Rome, Italy. El nombre de las cosas/The Name of Things, a world premiere at IFFR 2022 and nominated for a Tiger Short Award, is a creative short documentary on identity and heritage, and the words that shape us.
