David O. RUSSELL (1958, USA) is a director, producer and screenwriter best known for his films Three Kings en I Heart Huckabees. His latest film The Fighter was awarded two Golden Globes (Best Supporting Actor: Christian Bale, Best Supporting Actress: Melissa Leo). The Fighter is the closing film for the IFFR in 2011.
