Connor Simpson

Connor SIMPSON (USA) is a director and writer based in Los Angeles, California. He received his MFA in Screenwriting & Directing from Columbia University. In 2018, he received the Filmmaker to Watch award at the 2018 Atlanta Film Festival for his short, Kudzu (2017). He also received the 2017 Miloš Forman Directing Fellowship, and The Emerging Filmmakers Production Grant for his short film, I Remember it Rained (2021), which premiered at the Hollyshorts Film Festival. Other accolades include co-writing the Vimeo Staff Pick Award-winner at the 2018 Aspen Shortsfest, participation in the Transatlantic Talent Lab in Reykjavik, Iceland, and multiple awards and screenings at Oscar- and BAFTA-qualifying festivals.
