Chito Roño

Chito ROÑO, better known to some as Sixto Kayko, was one of the first film students at the Filipino State University. After his film training, he continued his studies at the New York School for Social Research, completed a scriptwriting course at the Grey Film Atelier in Upstate New York and a film course in Rome. With his first feature, Private Show, he immediately gained major international recognition. Later work by the film maker has also received many prizes and been screened at festivals in Berlin, Rotterdam New York and Hong Kong.
