Barbet Schroeder

Barbet SCHROEDER (1941, Tehran, Iran) spent part of his youth in Colombia. He worked as critic for Cahiers du Cinéma. Since his first steps in the film business, as assistant to Godard, he has produced countless films, including many by Eric Rohmer. He directed films including Barfly and Single White Female and plays the mechanic in The Darjeeling Limited, directed by Wes Anderson.
