Barbara Loden

Barbara LODEN (1932, USA) was a notable film and stage actress and film director. A one-time pin-up beauty and magazine story model, she was discovered for films by legendary producer and director Elia Kazan. At the time of her death from cancer at the age of 48, she was married to him, and together they had two children. She was perhaps best-known for her role in Kazan's film, Splendor in the Grass (1961)
