Asghar Farhadi
Asghar FARHADI (1962) studied theatre at Tehran University and Tarbiat Modarres University. He directed several 8mm and 16mm films for the Young Iranian Cinema Society, wrote a number of screenplays for Iranian television and directed many popular television series, including A Tale of a City. His last film Dancing in the Dust was awarded at many festivals.
