Antoinetta Angelidi
Still: ToposAntoinetta ANGELIDI (1950, Greece) is an esteemed filmmaker of the Greek avant-garde cinema. She received an education in Film Direction and Editing at the Institut des Hautes Etudes Cinématographiques Paris and then studied Film Theory with Christian Metz. Her work has been displayed at many international film festivals and art venues. As part of a retrospective of her works, Angelidi was awarded the Golden Alexander prize at the 46th International Thessaloniki Film Festival. Topos (1985) and 121280 Ritual (2008) are part of the IFFR 2024 programme Cinema Regained.
