Anita Doron

Anita DORON (1974, Soviet Union) made her first film - an environmental protest piece - at the age of 12. A decade later, following an illegal escape from the USSR, Anita's short films Not a Fish Story (2002) and Elliot Smelliot (2004) premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Her first feature film The End of Silence (2006) won several international awards. Anita also made music videos and (short) documentaries. One of her ‘guerilla films’ Europa, East had its world premiere at the IFFR in 2010.
