Alia Farid

Multidisciplinary artist Alia FARID (1985) is from Kuwait and Puerto Rico. She holds a bachelor's degree from La Escuela de Artes Plásticas and two master's degrees: one in Visual Studies from Cambridge, MA and one in Museum Studies and Critical Theory from MACBA. Her work explores themes such as migration, national identity and self-representation. Farid has exhibited at São Paulo Art Biennial, Gwangju Biennale and MoMA PS1, among others.
