Montse Pujol Solà
Montse holds a Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University, specializing in production, and Master’s degree in Cultural Management. In 2018 she started working at Boogaloo Films as a producer and so far she has produced the series Autodefensa (Filmin, 2022) and four short films, among others. The last short film, “Everyday is like Sunday” (dir. Alberto Dexeus, 2021), premiered at DOKLeipzig and Ji.hlava and won a Silver Biznaga Audience Award at Málaga Film Festival. She is a Rotterdam Lab and IDFAcademy alumni and has participated in the workshops EAVE and Less is More, both in Barcelona. She was recently selected for the Acció Producció by Dones Visuals programme. She is currently developing her first feature film as an executive producer.

Boogaloo Films is a Barcelona based creative group that spearheads new forms of production and storytelling. Their commitment involves reflecting on current issues, focusing on the internationalization of young talent, while taking risks and exploring artistic points of view.
Their professional work in the world of fiction and documentaries has earned them well over 50 selections and awards at both national and international festivals such as Hot Docs, Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, Dok Leipzig, Ji.hlava Documentary Festival, BAFICI, Gijon Film Festival, San Sebastian Festival, FICG, Seville European Film Festival, Cinespaña Toulouse and Malaga Festival, among others. Their most recent productions are the series Autodefensa (Miguel Ángel Blanca, Filmin, 2022), the feature documentaries Tolyatti Adrift (Laura Sisteró, 2022) or Magaluf Ghost Town (Miguel Ángel Blanca, 2021).
