Marta Gmosińska

Born in 1992 in Łódź, Marta graduated from Łodź Film School in Film Production. She’s a producer in the Polish production company Lava Films. Since 2016, she has been developing her skills working on the production of several features in Lava including credit of Junior Producer in Apples, which premiered in Venice 2020. She’s currently in the final stages of post-production of her first feature Wet Monday by Justyna Mytnik. Marta handles Lava Films’s minority co-productions and is in development of her second feature, Blood Mother. She was awarded the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage scholarship for outstanding artistic achievements. A fan of everyday life and Xavier Dolan films.

Lava Films - Poland

Lava Films is an independent film production company collaborating with aspiring and established filmmakers from Poland and abroad. The company’s goal is to help artists transform their potential into features, documentaries and animated films bearing hallmarks of creative individuality, yet reflecting valid issues of our times. Believing that international co-productions are the most accurate answer to the needs of a multicultural audience, Lava Films engages in projects with worldwide potential as the main or minor producer as well as conducts service productions. Lava Films projects have been developed at such programmes as ACE Producers, TorinoFilmLab, EAVE Producers Workshop, EP2C, Passion to Market, Berlinale Co-Production market, MIA Market, Ekran, CineKid, Cartoon Movie, Sheffield Doc Fest, Doc Lab, and many others.
