Leen Al Hamarneh

Leen Hamarneh is a filmmaker with extensive filmography and experience behind and in front of the camera. She started working in film in 2016 producing local and international commercials, including Mcdonald’s 2018 World Cup campaign, and then switched to the AD department to work on internationally acclaimed films and series such as Netflix Al Rawabi school for Girls, Disney +’s Moon Knight, and notable Jordanian films such as Inshallah Walad, and The Red Sea Makes Me Wanna Cry. Her work as a producer includes director Samer Battikhi’s first documentary, Bread Loaf, which won the production fund from the Royal Film Commission in 2021, and three other projects currently in various stages of development, including Idols in the City—a feature that won four awards at the Amman International Film Festival industry days in 2023. As a passionate artist, Leen believes in the arts as a means of self expression and promotion for the Jordanian and Arab culture to the world.
