Katharina Weser

Katharina Weser was born in Augsburg, Germany in 1988. She studied French, Journalism and Film in Germany and France. After her studies she worked in France for several production companies as an assistant producer and director as well as a journalist. In 2014 she joined the Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris, a programme for young European producers. Together with her partner Georg Neubert she opened up the production company Reynard Films in early 2016 in Leipzig. They specialise in international co-productions. As a producer, Katharina produced three short films both fictional and animated and a German-Brazilian feature documentary. She currently develops an animated short about a refugee and a 3D full CG animated web series and cinematic VR experience in a bioluminescent deep sea story world. With her projects, she participated at programs like Documentary Campus Masterschool and The Bosch Filmprize.

Reynard Films GmbH - Germany

Reynard Films was created by Katharina Weser and Georg Neubert in 2016. With their offices in Leipzig, Agawang and Berlin, they work between Art and Code and specialise on international co-productions of films and VR projects. Their works were shown at festivals such as Cannes, Biennale di Venezia, Karlovy Vary IFF, SXSW.
