Joyce Chou
Producer Joyce Chou is the founder of Rustic Pictures Ltd. In 2021, her short film Good Day, received awards such as the Golden Horse Award for Best Live Short Film, and was nominated in the Best Asian Short Film competition at the Busan International Film Festival. As production manager, she contributed to the success of the Netflix series Shards of Her. The series received four awards at the Taiwan Television Golden Bell Awards. Joyce Chou aspires to leverage her extensive international co-production experience, collaborating with directors from around the world to develop films that resonate with the emotions of the times.

Rustic Pictures Ltd specialises in script development and international co-productions. The name "Rustic " is inspired by the bountiful rice ears during harvest in their hometown, expressing the aspiration to be a production company that shares and provides a sense of security to creators. "Rustic " also represents the attitude towards life that the three founders want to incorporate into each work.
