Irene Muñoz Martin
Irene Muñoz Martín is a Spanish filmmaker and producer born in Madrid in 1991 and based in Geneva. She holds a Fine Arts degree from Complutense University of Madrid (2012) and a master's in Visual Arts (2016), followed by a bachelor degree in film direction (2018) from HEAD-Geneva. After diverse experiences in art galleries and theatres, she worked as a production assistant at Alva Film in 2018 under producer Britta Rindelaub. Joining Écran Mobile in 2020, she produced her debut documentary On Remembering, selected for prestigious festivals. Since 2020, Irene has been working as a teaching assistant for the Master in Cinema at ECAL/HEAD. In 2022, she co-founded the Autre Terre production association. Currently, Irene is involved in producing two upcoming feature documentaries Subterranea and In These Shoes.
Futur Proche – Switzerland
Futur Proche was founded in 2021 with the intention of engaging and contributing to Swiss creation while maintaining a strong international connection. It specialises in documentary production while remaining open to various formats and chosen mediums. Its ambition is to bring together new talents specialised in different areas of documentary creation, united by the desire to collaboratively craft compelling stories that have the capacity to challenge and question certain aspects of our society. Since its creation, Futur Proche has produced short films, features films and podcasts for Swiss national radio. Currently, the company is actively involved in developing two feature-length films and a short documentary for cinema.
