Film about the life and work of the original and obscure samba singer Vassourinha (1923-1942), born in Sao Paolo. He recorded only twelve songs on six 78-rpm. A rare disease stopped his batuque, at the age of nineteen. In its poetic structure of ideas, rhythms and documents, the film articulates Vassourinha's history of samba.
