Documentary about the Amsterdam accordion-player Johnny Meijer, who died in January 1992 at the age of 79. He is regarded as one of the greatest accordion-players with a repertoire ranging from sing-along Amsterdam tearjerkers to jazz. The first footage for this film was shot only two weeks before he died.
