How to get there
Come to IFFR by train, bus, or bike. Together with our partner NS, we promote transportation by train. Upon arrival at Rotterdam Central, you will immediately see that the city is once again dedicated to IFFR, and you will be welcomed by one of the Art Directions projects. In Rotterdam, you can use RET (bus, metro, tram), the shared bikes from Donkey via Umob, or opt for electric transportation if you're going to watch a film at LantarenVenster or Pathé de Kuip through our partner Bolt.
NS
This year, purchase your "spoordeeluitje" (train travel package) with NS and take advantage of a special rate for a round-trip ticket by train to Rotterdam Central, including a film ticket. You can buy the package through the NS spoordeelwinkel.
RET
In Rotterdam, use the RET (bus, tram or metro) to move between the various festival locations and/or festivalcafés.
Bolt
During the festival, you can use the Bolt app and the special IFFR category, Bolt Film, to book a taxi ride between various IFFR locations with a 20% discount. If you are near one of the IFFR film locations, this special Tiger category will automatically appear in the app.
Umob
Use the umob app and receive €15 in free credit to use for a Donkey Republic bike by using the "filmfestival" code. Download the app and grab a bike in the Schouwburgplein area to cycle to your next film at Cinerama or LantarenVenster.
