Hadeel Lawi

Hadeel is a genre screenwriter and creative producer. Lawi received a development fund in 2020 from the Jordan Royal Film Commission for her feature script, and was selected for Rawi Script Lab (2021). Her project was also invited to the Amman International Film Festival Pitching Platform in (2022). Lawi is producing a short film currently in development and a feature film to be shot in 2024. Lawi holds a Bachelor of Arts and Digital Filmmaking from the UK and has a well-rounded experience since 2012 within the film industry and international productions. Lawi has a strong belief in the importance of genre films and recently founded a genre film association for Jordanian and Arabs filmmakers.
