Gita Fara

Gita Fara started her career in the film industry at university as the assistant editor for Garin Nugroho’s masterpiece films including Opera Jawa (Venice 2006) and Serambi (Cannes Uncertain Regards 2005). She has produced three feature films that have toured the international film festival circuit, as well as several short films. Her second feature, The Seen and Unseen by Kamila Andini premiered at Toronto International Film Festival in the Platform Competition and won numerous international awards, such as the Grand Prix Award in Berlinale’s Generation Kplus Competition, and the Grand Prix from Tokyo Filmex. Her upcoming film project (in post-production), titled Before Now and Then by Kamila Andini recently won the CJ Award at the Busan APM Project Market.

Cineria Films – Indonesia

Cineria Films is a Jakarta based production company that believes in stories and its strength. Our love toward stories is the basic foundation of our creative activities. Cineria has produced a couple of short films, as well as a documentary. These include The Sea Speaks His Name (Pritagita Arianegara), and a feature documentary, The Flame (Arfan Sabran), which has screened around the festival circuit.
