Fatma Racha Shehadeh

Fatma Racha Shehadeh is an American-Jordanian film producer, director, and cinematographer. She produced, wrote and directed several short films under her own production company Roarpark, and is currently in post-production on her first feature documentary as a producer and director funded by PaCCS - University of Cambridge and the Economic and Social Research Council - UKRI and commissioned by Al Jazeera. As a director of photography, she shot over 30 short films—some of them are still touring in festivals—and a feature film. Her short films have toured several international film festivals. Zikra received the Bronze Palm at Mexico International Film Festival. Muse received The Fevoss Prize at San Giò Video Festival. Most recently, she produced and directed The Last Trade for the 48-hours-film Project and won best film, best director and best music scores. Later, Roarpark was eligible for the YES WE CANNES competition and won best screenplay and 1st Runner up in the competition. The film was screened at Cannes Film Festival in a special screening. Currently, she is also in development of Not Really a Match, her short film also produced by Roarpark that won the Short Film Development Award by Malmo Industry Days in Malmo Film Festival 2023 and in development as a producer of The Girl and the Missing Bed by Samer Battikhi taking part in the Red Sea Lodge 2023.

Roarpark - Lebanon

Roarpark is the unison of young filmmakers’ residing in Beirut, Lebanon who have been working together for over 5 years to produce and execute films and documentaries. Founded by filmmaker Fatma Racha Shehadeh, the family of Roarpark’s intention is to help produce creative projects by young filmmakers. Roarpark’s duty is focused also on connecting young filmmakers to the international world of cinema, providing professional support for new talents. Since its establishment in 2021 it has produced two short films, and received 3 awards.
